Was sold as branching hammer but very cheap!

100% looks like a hammer to me. That color combo is very cheap. The neon splatter and the one you have are the two most common colors so they’re cheap :)

1: I don’t know lol.

But I would like to toss this out there. Aren’t the only ones who have multiple tentacles coming off one tentacles frogs? Also don’t the end of hammers look more like hammers?

I’ve got torches with multiple tips on a few of the tentacles. Unless it’s pretty widespread I wouldn’t consider it a frogspawn or even a frammer. If it’s just like 3 tentacles out of the whole colony it’s a regular hammer

Thanks for clarification and introducing me to a new coral “frammer” lol

It is quite possible for hammers and even torches to have multiple tips growing out of one tentacle, akin to frogspawn.

Here another picture
Man I would have never guessed that’s a hammer. I would have definitely thought this was a frog. Crazy learn something new every day... here’s my frog for comparisons.

The color scheme is exactly the same lol.

I am sure this is going to shed light on how newbi I am. But could this be a cristata, since it’s short fat tentacles and not really hammer looking ends?
