Frogspawn white stuff?

Whats that white tissue stuff under my frogspawn? I tried to blow it of but its like stuck and mote like a tissue?

That is healthy tissue and is supposed to be there. Ideally, it should extend even farther down the stem... If it shows further recession, there's something slowly killing the coral.
Excuse my ignorance as this is my first sw tank and i was trying to blow that white part off because its like a tissue. Its like peeling off anyway now. I dont know if i killed it. But this coral was doing really great no issues. I wasnt sure if that white stuff was receeding or not.

If it's peeling off, that is not good!

Its poriferan sponge growth and simply place frag in a container of tank water and scrape off with a paring knife. If left there will eventually overtake the frag

It looks like those are filaments from the flesh.

Kind of like it's insides, they can come from any flesh of euphyllia.

It was irritated by something.

@Erin1971Texas is showing a nice example of a healthy torch.
