I picked up a frogspawn at lfs it looked like it was a regular green with peach tips.. untill I got it home and it opened. the next day I saw it is neon green and yellow around the center and has blue tips....
I havnt had these color before is there a name? Second pic is when it opened yellow dosnt show in pic but you can see the streaks with the green center

When I bought frogspawn, they always had yellow streaks. I don’t think it is uncommon but not always noticeable.

My last frogspawn I had for 12+ years cut over 100 frags from it never saw any yellow... and they were green with purple tips like one on the left... not a yellow green with blue tips

So I think it depends on a few things that I’ve noticed with my frogspawn and octospawn.

My frogspawn when happy you can’t see the mouths and looks normal green with purple tips. When it starts to close down for the night or when I feed you get a good strip of yellow/neon green leading towards the mouth.

My octospawn on the other hand is a “peach” variety but when it’s closed up tight it shines yellow and is hard to pickup on my camera but is definitely not peach. When it’s puffed up I will have mostly peach but some yellow/clear tips.

That may be so... just saying I don't believe it is an uncommon morph. Aqua SD has a green one with some yellow stripes for $70. I do not believe it has any special name.

Honestly it looks like it was bleaching out? Sometimes when they get stressed out they get super light and pale like that. Sometimes from too low of nutrients too. As far as the name goes they are not commonly named like others have said.
