This scares me. My coral did not like NeoNitro dosing after a few months. I decided to just let the reef reef and not interfere.
I’ve used it before with no ill effects but what k haven’t been doing is dosing AB+ as I was with the old 40b, maybe that was my secret lol I dosed 10ml daily

Perhaps the 1-2 combo. I am still looking for the konami code.

Another difference that I may need to adapt for is my sand , in old tank it was half an inch. Now my sand is 6 inches deep , this could be breaking down all the nitrate quickly along with refugium hmmmm

Tank is consuming nitrate and phosphates together. When one bottoms the other climbs. Your phosphates will continue to drop(as you add nitrate) and nitrates will be close to zero until the balance of two have leveled off

I was thinking that but didn’t know if it was true , I also put 6 drops of lanthium chloride into skimmer cup just to help it along. I do think higher nitrate by Atleast 10x phosphate is good for tanks. You can see the brown algae on my glass this really only happens when my phosphate is high vs nitrate

The brown algae let’s me know when mine are off too. My tank is happy with nitrate around 10-15 and phosphates under 1 and over .03

Oh nice okay I ask because I’m in the process of adding more too.

Whenever I add rock I just add to DT lol maybe it’s wrong but all the other rocks really help mature it faster without needing tank to cycle
