I saw one of these guys at my LFS today. I had one back in 2013 and it did well for me until I broke the tank down and sold it, but I honestly feel like my success back then was more luck than anything. What are tips for successfully keeping a fromia star?

It’s never been clear to me what sustains them. I think a large, mature reef is required at a minimum. I don’t know anyone, including myself, that’s been able to keep one for even a year. I had one that appeared to be thriving for many months before dissapearing.

Yeah. I'll do more research before adding one. If anyone else has any ideas, please chime in!
