FS: Alpha 250 New price

I'm selling this for a friend. The skimmer body is a year old and the pump has a new block that's was test to make sure it works. The piece that connects the pump and silicone hose broke. He's asking $875 and open to reasonable offers.

So is it the venturi nipple that's broken? If so what is the red hose for?
