Full moon coral spawning

Hi! We have a lovely marine tank and I have noticed today and it started a little last night -that the tank is a little ‘cloudier’ than usual..... could this be anything to do with the full moon ? Full in 24hrs time for us.... (approx) the tank is by our patio doors and the moon does shine on our windows.....

Welcome to R2R. Sounds kinda cool if it is spawning but that is hard to tell could you add some more info on the tank, ie parameters, age and livestock.

When my snails spawn it’s usually during a full moon.

Welcome to R2R! A coral spawning would be awesome, and you would likely eventually see gamete bundles. If instead it is a bacterial bloom, there are a number of existing threads on the issue with good advice. Either way, spawning or a bloom, it would be good to focus on water parameters and nutrient levels.
