Curious to get an idea of what type of lighting appeals more to members of this forum. For me personally, nothing in this hobby is more satisfying than a full spectrum lit tank with large mature acro colonies. Although the colors pop, the blue look just doesn’t appear natural in my opinion.

I like both. I run royal blue,uv,violet for the first 3hrs then full spectrum the rest of the day then royals,uv,violet again for the last 3hrs. 11hr schedule and tank gets 5hrs of full spectrum cw,rb,b,uv,v,cw,r,g.

That Windex looks remind me of T5 blue plus bulbs. Yuk! I love heavy blues later in the day, after a high noon white look, and run them heavily. I added some increased red to my spectrum with the blues and violets and the look is still funkadelic, but the fish look natural with true colors.

I run both. I have my AI Blade setup to turn on and ramp up to 20000k, then 14000k, then a 10000k at noon, then back to 14000k and finally 20000k then ramp down to moon light for a few hours. It seems more "natural" to me and I get to enjoy the colors in the mornings and evenings and nice white light at noon for a while. The corals are growing, so I guess they're happy too.

My favorite color would have to be the old MH 14000k bulbs. That was such a gorgeous color!
