I really like this shot. This was taken at leak full spectrum lighting, but the Ding Dangs are blinding under all blues.

Had to sell a bunch of stuff to cover an emergency vet visit,so that sucks but I guess what else are the frags for lol ?

So,I pulled the Orphek bars off a little while ago to clean the look of the tank up. While it did,I feel like growth on most stuff hit a wall and hasn't really packed on new polyps as fast as they were.

So after switching to the Reefi Uno,the visual color of the tank is amazing,I am hoping the added power will get me back to where I was growth wise. Utilizing a little percentage of all 9 channels and the Orpheks for added color sunrise/sunset before the Uno comes on.

Reefi is at 35w at peak schedule and OR4's are at 45% peak so probably like 15w for both OR4's at peak.

As far as we know,it should be. I found 2 dark masses on our dog Thursday night, and took him Saturday and they took a biopsy. So we should get results here shortly. They are possibly just skin tags older dogs get but not 110% sure.

I will keep you updated !!!

Sold a bunch of frags, bought some frags from @littlebigreef (pink constillations, pink zippers, bonnies bowser, frozen armageddon, rainbow trolls, outkasts, miku freak's,vampire slayers). His frags were clean, healthy, and even open after sitting in the box closed since delivery.

His communication, honesty, knowledge was just amazing. Great guy, whom I will place and order with again. Just overall an amazing experience.

Here is a new FTS and top down shot.

@Gumbies R Us @Tahoe61 doggo is all clear which we are happy to hear. Just old man dog masses that are nothing to worry about.

In other news,I did snag a HelloReef 15g locally for dirty cheap, along with a Axis 40 return pump and will most likely swap everything to that from the 10g. I want more and bigger fish, and so does my wife. So that gives me a few more gallons to play with.

So both tanks are going to get floating aquascapes. I'm going to make a L bracket out of some black acrylic I have and try to silicone it to the back wall in both tanks.

On the 8g,I need to grind a slit in the light bracket to fit it on the back of the tank, then drill a hole to feed the power cord for the Uno to run it down the backside of the mount and clean up all the mess of wires.

The 8g is going to be a project I haven't done in ages,a acro nano. Tanks been up for probably over a month and already have coralline popping up on the overflow and on the Hygger mini pump.

Going to give it a little more time, then grab a stick or 2 and see how they do.

So both tanks are cruising along, doing their thing. Growing and filling in. 8g doesn't have too much going on,coralline growing on the overflow weir, return nozzles and Hygger wavemaker.

8g stocking,I am aiming for acro's. Stocking will be low 2-3 nice acro's on my podium rock I made and maybe 2-3 montipora on the lower rocks that barely poke out of the sand.

I have been getting water from a local reefer who uses IO but I am thinking of giving the Aquaforest Reef Salt a try for the price now that its readily available. Doing such smaller w/c's every month or so the 16g bag should last a few months.

I have struggled with super high alk, mag, cal for the whole time the 10g has been set up and I don't dose anything besides amino's,iodide and mysis. So hopefully this should set things in the right direction and encourage better lps growth.

I had this long winded update typed out then accidently closed the tab.. so basically :

1. The Coralland tank, params are perfect, coralline is growing.. Zoa's are mad,my lps that were dying are coming back.

2. The Coralland is about 70% going to be a sps tank. 2-3 tenuis or og acro's and 2-3 og monti's if I go this route.

3. The WaterBox cube is going to be replaced with a used HelloReef 15. Same light combo ( hydra 26hd,2x orphek or4 blue plus),a axis 40 along with a nero 3. Just need a little more room and downsize my collection.
