great work on the fixture rework it turned out great! t5/led seems like the way to go! got a fish list? i see anthias ,chromis, pb tang and the cherub... pretty much every fish i want to add to my tank lol..

Finally got some time to get this done. swapped out the sump. I Pulled a Ryan and carved out my filter sock compartment, all new plumbing w/hayward needle (x2) valve manifold and a cor20. Man this pump moves water, Im running about 20-25% and I have twice the flow my old dc had. the Only bad thing is this pump does not come with a intake screen or gaurd.
Oh ya a New RO skimmer! This is where I would say MORE POWER!!!!!...but no.......IT'S now ......More FISH! ...Its the Royal 150ss with Various pump, I wanted the 200 but it wouldn't fit and I'm glad, this thing is huge and pulls the cr@p compared to my last one.

I put up a piece of Sintra PVC board to mount the STUFF! it took a few tries but its done. I hung some duct under the manifold for the excess wires

Installed my Jebaco Doser, Just need some containers, not much room left between to top off reservoir and the apex cabinet, about 4-5 " So the search is on

AND I got the Red KOOL-AID , for now I turn on in the evening for four hours to start off and untill I can spend some time with the apex and learn the ins and out and get the connection issues sq away.

And yes the sump has Fish, that is another thread!

Grow setting (purple color) how deep is your fuge. Generally since this light is so powerful, you want to shoot for anywhere from 12 to 18 inches off the waters surface. In most cases due to cabinet design that isn't always possible, but try to get it as far away as you can. Mine is currently 10" off the waters surface and my chaeto is growing like a weed. Went from golf ball to football in less than a week however, the chaeto needs to be acclimated to that power. So start with short photoperiods. Couple hours a night, and slowly add in hours over the coming weeks. Right now I have mine on a 16 hour photo period. But had to start it at only 4 hours at a time otherwise the chaeto would start to die off.

Do tell, Im having a problem with my point of sale @.36 and N is 0-2. lost all color in my sps until I got P up to .32 and still no nitrate.

Homework questions
The tank has been up about a year?
Just change out the light about 3 months ago?
Just setup a Ref in the sump
Nitrates are running low
Phosphates are running at .36 ?? over.1 is like way, way to high and you will have an algae farm growing.
What are you testing nutrients with??
What salt are you running??
Are you dosing??
