Here’s a few of my 46 gallon bowfront. My first saltwater tank, after having kept freshwater fish for the last 10 years and as a kid in the 80s and 90s.
Got it aquascaped and started cycling back in the beginning of March this year, lost a couple fish at the end of that month due to disease, and it’s currently in the middle of its 45 day fallow period before we add more fish. In the meantime, we’ve added our first few corals, and have a pair of juvenile clowns in QT.

Feb 2020. Fight before all the lock downs

September 2020. Right after the last pic I had a tank crash during a work trip that my roomate couldn't handle. Lost both the torches when a mushroom detached, got stuck under a rock and died bombing the tank. Decided to change up the focal points of the tank at this point. Two Toadstool leathers and an attempt at a ghani.

May 2021. Gave the ghani away as it seemed to not be doing too well, but everything else seems to be doing amazing! (At least I think so haha) moved some stuff around as it started shading itself. Had a birdsnest grow from the bottom of one of my leathers, so I removed it when it hit a decent size and set it up.

Thinking of putting some zoas on some small rocks I have added, but I have my trepidations about it. If anyone has any comments or suggestions I am totally open to them!

Reminds me to take more full tank shots. This is when I moved last year and started with base rock as I filled. My other tank was running at my old house at the time. Made the transfer with some of my old LR. Then I ordered Gulf LR . I put the Gulf LR into two different observing tanks for a couple of months. I still have 2 pieces of rock in those two tanks that haven’t made it into the DT yet. I slowly added approved Gulf LR into DT. I’m still not done with my scape. Have a few rocks I plan on moving. Since then I have added a 20G long for frag grow out.
