I only have 3 fish in my 50 gallon reef. 1 Clown, 1 Blue Mandarin and 1 6 Line Wrasse. All of them are fairly small. I love how functional my wrasse and mandarin are. The wrasse tidy up my corals while the mandarin eats the bad critters that may arise in the tank. What other functional fish are good to have for a reef? Fish that put in work. Also, would 1 or 2 more fish be okay for my 50 gallon? Whats the ideal capacity?

Btw, my six line wrasse is a bully sometimes and is very choosy on who is allowed in the reef lol

You could fit a couple more fish assuming you have the proper filtration. And six lines can be the devil to new fish that you add.

I would recommend a smaller Blenny, something like a Tailspot Blenny. They stay nice and small, pick at algae all day (but are not picky when it comes to prepared foods) and stay on the rockwork, so less likely to be bullied by the Sixline then another column swimmer. This is the route I would go anyways.

+1 thanks
