Hello!

I am wondering if the hard shell of a fungia coral would grow back or repair from minor damage?

I was using the glass magnet and tapped the coral which broke the hard shell tip. The piece is still attached with the soft body.

In general, corals can recover from minor damage.
If you would like opinions on your coral specifically, maybe you can post a picture and someone can help.
