Fungus? White hair growing on fish

Trying to get a pic not easy sorry. I've got a midas blenny who has been doing great for months, he still seems happy/healthy no change in behavior, but on one side of him close to his tail there is a small patch of what looks like white fuzz or hair growing out of it!? Can't seem to find anything like it online. And its long hairs like like longer than the diameter of his eyes should I ignore it?

Quarintine and Try maracyn for saltwater. It should fix it.
