Furry snail?

Just saw this in my tank…does anyone know what it is? It’s furry and moves like a snail.

The general shape reminds me of a cowrie, but I'm not sure and I cannot identify species of this either way.

That is a snail of some kind, but it's basically impossible to say what kind due to the "snail fur" hydroids (Schuchertinia milleri) A.K.A. Hedgehog Hydroids covering the snail's shell there.
