So in the very near future I plan to upgrade and have been researching different tank manufacturers and IM seems to offer what I’m looking for. Any thoughts or experience would be helpful. Yes I want external overflow to leave back of tank clean for aqua scape. Thoughts on the EXT 200?

wish i had one !

As a fan of IM I say yes. I do wish the sumps were a tad smaller to allow everything to fit under there but that's just me as I don't like having ATO container and controllers/wires out to the sides.

I had been looking at their IM100 EXT before settling on my current tank. I wish that the IM sumps were smaller on the smaller systems. I wanted to have room for my 10g ReefCan ATO container to fit inside the stand but there wasn't enough room for the container. The IM200 is beautiful 😍 with plenty of underneath space! Hope you have a lot of Italian dudes to lift that 700 lbs. tank. So happy your getting another tank!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm your girl! LOL

I’m in the same boat, deciding between the IM 170 or 200 and then if to use their sump or not. I really like the tank dimensions, stand and build quality. Thinking about doing my own plumbing and bashsea or trigger sump. Excited to follow along!

I hate to rain on your parade. A member on here @tritonpowerhad two IM 200's leak back to back on him. I watched his YT videos on the whole fiasco. This is the only known to me issues with this company.

Well it only a drizzle as I have decided to go with eshops 130 or 180 when I’m ready only because I like the dimensions and the extremely robust build quality of their tanks.
