Gap in silicon after Red Sea sump modification

Hello all. I removed the sump partition holders on the side of my Red Sea sump, and it left a gap in the silicone. I guess the silicone is done by Red Sea after these holders are already secured to the wall. Are these gaps okay, or should I patch them with silicone. Thanks for any advice.

Unfortunately silicone doesnt stick to silicone so it would probably need to be a whole reseal but some people say its the silicone between the 2 panes of glass that make the seal

Yeah there is still the 1/4" seal which attach the 2 pieces of glass together. The bead of silicon on the edge just seems to be additional protection. But I'm no expert at this.

Here’s what it looks like from the other side. Looks like a lot of seal to break through before leaking.
