I know somebody who bought a couple a few weeks ago. Not sure how they are doing now. Now I think I will ask him and see what he says.

I have kept them and didn't find it difficult to get them eating, they ate pretty much any meaty food that came by them. Where there was a challenge with feeding was when other fish would swim by the garden eels would duck back into the sand. Garden eels will also not chase food down, so the tank needs to be overfed.

My buddy said that his garden eels have adapted quite well to his tank and he had no problems getting them to eat. He's very happy with them. For what it's worth to ya :)

Hi, I presently keep 2 garden eels in my 45 gallon seahorse tank. They are very easy to keep and feed. I have a 3" sand bed.

Nice but what size sand gain you have for your sand bed and does it matter on the gain size. Fine to course
