Sadly I let my original 90 gallon half round tank crash and decided to just start over entirely.

I purchased this new Prostar V2 90 gallon around Black Friday. Got it setup and started cycling using Fritz’s bacteria starter. All went well and recently was able to get my fish into the system.

Here is a list of what I’m running
-Tank: Prostar Rimless V2 90
- Sump: Built in Pro Star Sump
- Heater: BRS 200W Titanium Heaters x2 on an inkbird contoller
- Return Pump: Hygger 1060 return pump
- Protien Skimmer: Bubble Magus Z7
- Gyres: Red Sea ReefWave 25
- Lighting- AI Hydra 26 x2
- ATO- XP Aqua Duetto Dual Sensor

Stock
After a velvet outbreak that wiped out all livestock
- Pair of Black ice clowns

Taking it slow this time with coral. Not sure when I will start adding. Stay tuned!

Can’t decide if I want to do another wrasse or seek out some Chromis.

Wife really wants coral in now but I keep telling her she has to be patient. Not rushing this tank like I did my first.

Thanks for checking in. The build is going great, I was actually thinking about getting some pictures uploaded today. I dont have any fish in the tank at the moment after a velvet outbreak from a trusted LFS, the LFS also now has all their fishtanks torn down for cleaning as velvet wiped them out as well.

In terms of the tank and stand I love it! The sump leaves much desired, its super small, hard to get into. But if you find the right equipment you should be fine. I made the mistake of going with a Bubble Magus Z7 skimmer and absolutely hate it. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

I am actually thinking to go with the 150 gallons tank since the display is 120. I didn't know the display for the 90 g is 63g. What do you think?

I would have gone bigger if I could have, was just on a tight budget. I think you will be happy with that one. I would easily purchase another Prostar tank.

Small update. Have added a lot of euphyllia to the tank. Recently grabbed a 24k torch. Went fallow for 6 months after a velvet outbreak and just introduced 2 black storm clowns. Will update tomorrow more corals when my lights will cooperate.

Also got rid of the Junk Bubble Magus Z7 Skimmer, may post a picture of me lighting it on fire. As much as I said I wouldnt go with Bubble Magus again I went with the Elite Curve 5 and so far its been great. It started skimming right away, I tried my hand at using filter cups with Polyfiber in it, however something is in that polyfiber that has made 3 skimmers now go crazy and overflow for days so I will not be using that anymore and going back to filter socks.
