I have a gem tang that i am offering up to sell. Been in a tank for more than 2 years since he was 1 inch big. He is now 4 inches. Super healthy and an inch fat. Never has has had any disease or a spot of ich. I want $5999 FIRM for him. Local pickup only 32828, orlando FL. I am not selling him because i am in need of money, if he doesn't sell i will keep him happily. Serious buyers only. PM if interested.

Doesn't matter though... a gem tang is a gem tang! I think we all know what they look like... which is gorgeous! Definitely a lucky person to even have one!

I would agree. Would want to make sure the fish was healthy. It looks like it is fat and happy but would want to make sure there was no signs of disease.

Yes, the store is currently holding the fish for me until I sell it or when
my tank is ready. This fish is mine not the stores.

they go for like 3k but they are the size of a quarter when you get them.... price is prob more because the fish is captive raised from what it sounds like and fat. (my assumption)

Yes that is why. He is super fat and eats everything. You can throw a pebble in there and he will go at it :)
When you buy one for 3k, they came straight out of the ocean then into your tank. It is a hit or miss if it eats or has any disease brought from the ocean.
