Georgia east coast reefers

Hello hellos reefers
Saint simons Georgia here. Was hoping to find some other hobbyists in the general area anywhere from Savannah to Jacksonville.

Long time reefer from Florida moved recently about to start over on my all acro tank. Was hoping to get insight on the best LFS in the area and which ones to avoid.

Once I get the tank rolling would love to find a community to communicate, meet, and trade with.

Just picked up a 60cube in Savannah area. I've been trying to find an active club or group of people at all, but everywhere seems to be dead in this area

Greetings from the Savannah area. I've lived in the area for 16 years, but only got into the saltwater side of the hobby about a year ago. There's a slow moving facebook group for Savannah and a couple of local stores that sell saltwater.

From St. Simons I would recommend heading to Jacksonville to visit Bio Reef and some of the other aquarium stores in the area. There's a lot more selection and some better pricing down that way.

I would also love to find a local group.

Middle Georgia here about 2 hours straight west of Savannah. Would love to connect with other Georgia reefers to buy/trade corals with. I’ve been really getting into Acros lately.

Im from the Atlanta area but y'all kinda are screwed down there. There is a decent store in Savannah called Coastal Aquarium but honestly you're going to have to buy online or make the trek down to Orlando, Jacksonville or Atlanta for really nice stores.

Birmingham AL has a decent coral store and Panama City Florida has one also

Absolutely! I'm new, so I still haven't figured out how to find groups or clubs. It would be nice to know some experienced reefers nearby.

Definitely! I’m about 3.5 hours south of Atlanta so definitely could make the drive for any in-person meetings and trades.
