I have finally gotten around to installing my CaRx and tinkering with it and I can't solve the excess air buildup issue. It's run via a masterflex pump that pushes water into the reactor. It's multi speed so I have purged as much air from it as I can by running the pump at full speed. I even left the circulation pump off for 2 weeks to let all of the air from the media rise to the top then purged as much as I could with the masterflex. I had the masterflex running that entire period as well.
After the 2 weeks I turned on the circulation pump and it ran fine for a little while but then started to cavitate from the air buildup.
I can't leave the circulation pump on full time due to this happening. The pump will end up not pushing any water and burning up.
What should I do?
