i just got a flame angel and he seems like he's doing quite well in my tank, but I am having an issue getting him to eat a lot. He will eat a few pieces of mysis eats day but not as much as I'd like him too. All food is soaked in garlic guard. I bought some frozen spirulina formula too, which he will also eat a little bit of. From time to time he will pick some nori out of my grazer. I am a little afraid that the other fish in the tank are such aggressive eaters that he isn't getting his share. What would you suggest is the best way to get this fish to eat more?

What other fish do you have? Are any tankmates behaving noticeably aggressive toward it? If not then give it time. If it's eating it will gradually eat more.

Mine is a bit picky as well. Just started feeding live blackworms. Every fish except the manderins they were intended for loves them. The flame munchs them quite well.

I have a yellow tang a blue hippo and a foxface with it. Everything else I have is way smaller than the flame. None of those fish are showing any aggression toward it. The yellow, blue and foxface never leave each other side and they seem to have allowed the flame to join their little click. I definitely don't see any aggression toward the flame.
