Hi,

Since yesterday I'm getting a lot of "Oops! We ran into some problems. You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action."
It's like I'm suddenly blocked from half of the threads. Mostly when I open links via Google, but never had this message before.

Any particular reason why this could happen?

Pretty bummed about this since I read and learn so much from reef2reef.

Whenever I have this issue I simply reload the page. It works 99.9% of the time

Hello!

Do you happen to have an example link so we could investigate?

Thank you!

Anyone else experiencing this?

I have never had this problem. Opening links on the site or links from Google are fine. I have never clicked into an expired classified from Google so am not sure if it might happen on those types of links. I'm using my phone (android). I've never had issues on my windows laptop either but I'm usually on my phone.

I had the issue yesterday where its says oops we have a problem, usually refreshing the page works. But this time it just said server error and wouldn't load the page at all. It lasted about 10 minutes yesterday.

It might be location related (ISP issues). I get a couple host errors periodically but refreshing the page resolves it. I think it's when traffic is really high on the website.

These for example aren't loading for me, and is just an easy grab via Google:

Could it be these articles just don't exist anymore?

I think this is happening because revhtree’s tank had a symbiotic link to the website and now that his tank is gone the website is also shutting down. Quick, get your new tank up and running before the whole website crashes. :)

Might be, but I get them pretty consistent on the same threads. It's not randomly neither does refreshing work. The same that didn't work yesterday still won't work today.

What happens if you try to open these links in an incognito browsing session, or another browser altogether? (Edge instead of Chrome, Firefox instead of Safari, etc.)

Oh I see. This forum has been removed. I will move out these links to the main lighting forum asap!

Moved some of these already.
