Brine Shrimp Plus by ocean nutrition. It is frozen food

I have two regal angels. They love this stuff. I also suggest not getting them much larger than 3.5 inches.

Mine have been in my care for over 5 years

I wanted to try and stay away from the clam route, since i like to try and keep them once in a while, LOL.
But if I need to i will...
So fresh clams? Split them, and let them have at it?

That or frozen. Both my angels love clams! Ive had two regals, clam is the only thing they would start to eat. I soaked them in garlic then gave them frozen food with garlic as well and they started eating the frozen food. But boy does she love clams! I still give them to her every other day. My french angel loves them too

My Bandit was wild caught and larger. I knew it would be a challenge.

I had him in a 40 gallon QT tank and went to Whole Foods a few times a week and got him fresh clams, mussels, etc...

Took about a week and he started picking at things.

After he was eating that food well, I'd start mixing in prepared foods the display got.

After 45-60 days he was eating like a champ and went into a tank.

You're at a bit of a disadvantage having him in the display already and having aggressive eaters around.

Might want to pull and put in QT.
