Hello all,

It's been some time since I have researched lighting. I had two LED fixtures over my 300 gallon tank for a solid 12 years or so and finally they died. I had just been doing FOWLR, but now I'm ready to get back into corals. Just LPS, I don't think I'll go back to the SPS route. Tank is 72x36x27. I had T5s in the past and was happy with them on a 55 gallon reef. I was not a fan of changing the bulbs every 6 months so LEDs sound better in that aspect. I don't need the newest best option out there. I like a good cost effective option. I believe energy consumption is relatively the same between T5 and LEDs correct? Please let me know if you have any suggestions! Thank you!
