10th day in a row at work... im getting tired of being here lol but only got 2 days left before im off for 2 days so Its ok. the paychecks will be worth it. thankfully I don't have to do this again anytime soon. im ok with 5 days a week, maybe 6 every now and then. but 12 straight days is just too much lol
Yep, tell me about it. Lol

thinking this Friday I may take a trip into town and pickup a couple pounds of live rock and a fish bowl and go ahead and just start with a 1 gallon bowl instead of the vase. the vase looks too difficult to properly light. as in I don't think a single par30 will cut it and I don't want multiple lights. so im thinking a regular fishbowl would be better and also give me more room for my hand to get in for cleaning and trimming. probably pickup a couple frags while im in town depending on their prices. haven't bought coral from this place before.

The fish bowl sounds like a good idea.

oh I like the shapes in the middle, would make an awesome little zoa tank with rock rubble in the bottom. or GSP covering the hills with a couple shrimp in it looking like theyre playing in a field of grass. but you would have hell trying to have enough surface area for bacteria. luckily with weekly water changes and such low bioload bacteria isn't as important. you swap out all the water every week which means organics don't really have the chance to rot. not to mention you only feed it once a week, normally a few hours before you do the water change.

why do people give advice if they don't know what they're talking about.....

"duncans will sting the digi"
duncans don't have the ability to sting
"fine then don't listen to my opinion"

idiot.

lol I forgot you were on my facebook. im about to post an update on my thread. I didn't give much info on it on my facebook page.

How many gallons is the bowl? Target has a 3 gallon anchor hocking cookie jar that has a lid, pretty cool I saw a nano reef in Pinterest that someone did, pretty awesome. One of first pico tanks I did was with one..... And then I moved up in the fish world:)

lol its ok. ive done fish, now im in it for a challenge. but once I get it all set up right the challenge is gone so what do I do? ill add sps and see what sps I can get to grow. would be pretty sweet to get a 1 gallon sps tank going lol

think I need to crush up the rock rubble some more. its too big of chunks for such a small tank... think I may do that when I do my water change on Friday.
