Getting to know other people here

not yet. but I got someone whos supposed to come look this weekend. im not taking it down until I have cash in hand lol if it doesn't sell its not a big deal. I don't need the money from it. I just prefer not to have it sitting around collecting dust until I decide to do something with it. but if it doesn't sell, ive thought about turning it into a closed loop system zoa/paly tank. pack it full of rock, run a external pump with the 2 overflows acting as the inlet and outlet for the pump and pack it full of zoas. just seems like fun tank lol or maybe fowlr. I haven't really decided what to do with it if I keep it. either way itll come down. if I keep it, it probably wont go up for 6 months or so. and by then ill build a new sump for it and build a new overflow setup. thinking coast to coast with the herbie. donno. right now im focused on this reef. what should be a quick build is taking forever because I cant decide what I want to do with certain aspects of it lol

A zoa garden sounds awesome though.

yeah, ive also thought about using it as a frag tank. would make for a very simple and effective one. especially considering the equipment I have for it lol

gotta love that we talk about Australia like that's where all the deadly creatures are.... but we have a fair share here as well lol black widows, brown recluse, rattlesnakes, cotton mouths, etc....

What we have here is mild compared to Australia. Australia is the number one venomous continent, before Africa. And Africa has the black and green mamba's. You ever heard of the blue ringed octopus?

lol yeah, they've got a lot of venomous animals, and aggressive animals, but its not as bad as we make it seem lol. most people haven't even seen half the stuff in Australia that can kill them. hell I spent 15 months in Africa and didn't see much beyond camel spiders

Don't even say camel spiders. Those things creep be out! Lol
I remember they have this spider, forgot the name, in Australia that hides in people's shoes amd around the house. And it is so venomous it can kill in minutes. Idk.....that's scary enough for me.
