The plant orders and pays for the food, I am sure they don't check where the caterer got it from. I am sure they were disappointed.I don't even buy steak that's been frozen before.
I am sure the plant paid good money for like 200 steak plates. Lolyeah, can only complain so much about free food, but ****. if youre gonna do steak, do it right lol
They got to eat them too, they know how it was. Lolprobably lol
I am sure they charged them more than $5 for a steak plate. More like $15 a plate is more likely, plus they had drinks and dessert.lol yeah I can only imagine. figure 5 bucks a plate, 200 plates. that's a grand out the window. most companies would hate that idea lol
I used to work at a supermarket deli, we would get large plant orders for turnarounds. They would charge then regular price and delivery. Plants would pay it, and they can afford it. They definitely appreciate no Osha recordables on their records. They also give away gift cards and yeti coolers and mugs. I haven't won one of those though. :(doubtful if they bought 200 plates. maybe more than 5, but they wouldn't pay full price at 15 a plate.
I am sure that happens in many situations. There is plantation on the property that motiva owns that does the cooking so. They may only pay costs and labor probably.last place I worked that bought us all a catered lunch brought in city BBQ. full service catering. I asked the boss what it cost and he said after everything they averaged around 9 bucks a plate.
of course each place is different on what theyre willing to pay. my old boss was a cheapo when it came to stuff like that. he wanted good quality food but wasn't willing to pay much lol he said he called, told them what he wanted, how many people and said a total price. they said no, he said ok and hung up and they called back about 20 minutes later lol
We had free food every Saturday from the plant. Our supervisor bought this one, probably because this job is done. They are about ready to turn it over.lol lots of free food huh
Yep, I don't exactly when the layoff will happen. Could be two hours, could be two days. Idkfun. so you finally get some time off lol
5 pounds of rock in a 1.5 gallon vase? It'll fit?nifty. well, as of tomorrow I will start making actual progress on my 1.5 gallon reef vase. I picked up the vase the other day, im going to start curing the rock tomorrow with a heater, powerhead and skimmer. figure a sca301 skimmer would work great to cure 5 pounds of rock in a 5 gallon bucket lol tomorrow I will also start cutting and drilling the pvc spout for the airstone. I ordered a duel outlet pump rated for a 65 gallon, figure that will be powerful enough to cause some serious flow and I can turn it down with a gang valve. but the pump will be pushing air through about 50 feet of hose so im not sure how well it will work, may have to go even bigger lol. I figure the rock will be nice and cured within a month, and by then I will have figured out what light I want to use. im still pretty stuck on using a par38 just gotta find one I like.
