Picked up some more pieces. An orange rim plate, elegance, and blue hammer. Everything seems to be growing and doing well.

First signs of algae. Doing water change today. Also going to get a package from reefcleaners.

Went looking for fish and ended up with more corals.

Red goni, green tip frogspawn, baby blue frogspawn, dragon soul torch, ironman shroom, and some firework cloves but they aren't really opening up yet.

Got some more stuff!

Blue Mandarin
Red tile starfish
One spot Foxface
3 tierra anthias
2 leopard wrasse
Radiant wrasse
Orang spotted sand sifting goby

Will try to get some more pics as they become more social. Haven't seen any of the wrasse since the were introduced to the tank last night.

Both leopard wrasse have not come out even once yet. Radiant wrasse was swimming around for an hour or so yesterday and dissapeared again.

Everyone else swimming around and looking good.

The sand sifter "Alberto" has been wrecking havoc everywhere. He does not like my zoagarden plans unfortunately. I finally gave up near "his spot" and moved my bowser zoa.

Also picked up a ultra neon hammer and a blue duncan today. And got a pair of clowns yesterday.

Parameters looking on point.
5 nitrates
.03 phosphates
Dosing going well:
Alkalinity 8.85
Magnesium 1245

Picked up a flame angel, red hawkfish, starry blenny, and another torch today.

Parameters:
3 nitrates
0 phosphates
9.2 alkalinity
480 calcium
1330 magnesium

I threw away the chemi pure elite since phosphates is so low.

Also stopped dosing calcium immediately as it ended up higher than I wanted.

Radiant wrasse comes out every day around the same time for a couple hours the goes back to hiding.

Female leopard is out pretty much all the time but male stays under the sand still. I saw him pop out and then instantly go back under when he saw me today.

Got a big cleanup crew package from reefcleaners. The hermits and nassarius all did well. Unfortunately it seems the majority of astreas and ceriths did not. Also found one of the 2 emerald crabs dead today.

Really sad today my copperband mysteriously died for seemingly no reason. He has been in the tank for over a month. I have been feeding plenty of live brine shrimp, there ard tons of copepods, and also mysis brine frozen mix.

No signs of any parasites. Never saw any aggression from other fish. He even survived the winter storm that shut our power off and had the water down to 50 degrees. Really surprised...

Last night he was laying on his side breathing heavily and today was completely gone.

:(

Male leopard wrasse came out of the sand last night for first time and looked to be in similar condition. Not looking good at all. Can not find him right now and scared may be the same result.

All other fish seem fine.

Sad times. Both female and male leopard wrasse were found dead. Also my flame hawkfish. Male leopard wrasse is burried deep in the rocks where I can not get to him. I suspect he was the one that brought disease into the tank. I had a feeling he wasn't looking good but LFS said males just aren't as good looking as females. All the other fish seem to be doing ok. Hopefully it stays that way.

Setting up quarantine now. And don't plan to buy anything until the male leopard wrasse completely decomposes and until I'm sure no other fish are getting sick. Losing the Copperband especially was a really big bummer as he was the first fish I got and survived the winter storm.

Really happy with the progress. No more casualties. Corals looking great. Got my first SPS today and it's looking good already. Got a new Copperband Butterfly in quarantine along with a mystery wrasse and he is eating frozen foods with voracity. :)

Everything still going well :)

Anemone started to bleach a little bit but I'm hopeful he will be fine and is just adjusting to his new home.

Fruitloop zoa has been having a hard time ever since my goby started covering it with sand and I keep having to move it. I also saw an emerald crab eat one of the polyps. But I see 2 still alive so I'm hopeful it will recover as well.

Made a couple post in the forums already about this but keeping records here for a log of my reef experience.

My tester SPS after 3 weeks of seemingly doing really well all of a sudden started dying.

Introduced new Copperband Butterfly and Mystery Wrasse from quarantine but unfortunately the flame angel is bullying them pretty bad.

Sand sifting goby making a mess as usual.

Everything else doing really well and growing.

Params
1.025
8.7 dkh
420 calc
1420 mag
1 Nitrate
.02 phosphates

I understand this is a larger tank, but you added a lot of fish very quickly and put too much strain on the system. I think that is what did you in vs not having a qt.

A lot of new fish = high stress levels = more susceptible to disease.

Also, baby bring shrimp are better to feed than adult. They are more nutritious.

Your corals look quite nice.

Think I found the issue with my SPS frag. Cat chewed threw Alk doser.

Got my shipment from Coral Euphoria today. It was a really great experience and all the frags are looking great. He even through in a free Fix Flame frag. Hope they stay that way as I am battling low nutrients. Last night tested 0.00 phosphates and 1 nitrate. I am heavily feeding a mix of pellets frozen and reef roids to try and compensate. Also my tester sps is not doing well. If I blast him with water his flesh peels right off. Although there are some challenges I am still hopeful as all other aspects of my system are doing exceptional and all other corals are healthy and growing.

Frags are as follows: ASD Rainbow Milli, RR Pink Floyd, BRC Walt Disney, CE Repunzles Escape, CE Vicky's Secret, JF Fox Flame
