Yes I have high nitrates and phosphates. Been doing weekly water changes to help lower my numbers. I have emerald/Astrea/turbo/pithos/hermit crabs and a TEMPORARY tang. Nothing seems to be helping the problem. I’ve been manually removing it but at this point I’m just letting it grow to try and eat up some of the nutrients. What are some other suggestions for eliminating gha? Let me know if you have any specific questions about the tank. Thanks!

Consider flux rx. It will wipe it out in 2-3 weeks and then your clean up crew should be able to manage it if it returns and tries to grow back.

EDIT: Or just manually srub and remove it since there is so little rock. That would probably make more sense.

Remove the rock and scrub it down with a brush (or you can do the deep scrub in place since that does not look like much rock work). 90% water change. Lower the light intensity and shorten the schedule. Feed less.

Consider getting a refugium or algae scrubber if the steps above don't get things under control.

Nothing much. Pluck what ya can.
Get nutrients into the bands and stabilize.
Redirect snails to affected areas.
In time, it will cease.

Pluck it or the snails will avoid that patch. If its growing from a crevice, blow the crud out with a turkey baster.

I would never use chemicals to kill things in my tank. Managing parameters, proper CuC, good maintenance, and time are the best solutions.

Animals are chemicals. Paramaters, clean up crew, etc, are all chemicals or a measurement of chemicals.
