How did youI hope it works for you. It did not for me. I did end up getting rid of it, but that’s not what this thread is about.
I ended up taking the rocks out, even ones with coral, scrubbed them with a firm plastic scrubber brush, and using a syringe as to not splash the coral , I doused every inch with peroxide directly. Left it stand for 15 minutes and then rinsed off with fresh RODI water before putting back in the tank. How did you
How you get on?One additional point to add, there is some ulva lettuce algea on one piece of live rock. The peroxide did not seem to affect that either.
Still there. Peroxide didn't seem to change anything. How you get on?

I did end up adding 4 turbos in February. No changeJust read this whole thread. One thing that jumped out to me at the beginning, especially now that you've stopped doing HP was your clean up crew. Astrea, good. Cerith, good, Nassarius snails...detritus eaters in the sand. Not so good for algae control. Bumblebee snails, generalist for detritus but good for eating vermitid snails. Might want to add a turbo snail or other primary algae eaters. Especially if not bryopsis. Sorry to bug with the fairly obvious....Make sure you're not overfeeding, and blowing rock off after feeding is very helpful. You probably know these things but I notice that different people tend to focus on certain kinds of control and miss other forms. Example: an analytical brain might go with something they can measure and dose. A tech person may focus on gear. I like to focus on the combination of organisms.![]()
