how Long has it been up and running?
I advise you not to use there tube calculation and measure every by weight with some scales
Only been using it since yesterday.

I calibrated the doser heads by weight and measured the line for the water sample with a tape measure.

If I disconnected the line from the doser to the khd and then asked the doser to give me a set amount and weighed that ?

All mine were calibrated by weight as there software calculator was out by a long way,I used a graduation cylinder and that was along way off.
when evey thing is calibrated then just leave it to settle and do it’s thing for a couple days.

I calibrated all pumps by weight and tested a few times to make sure.
I'm just a bit surprised out how different the results are.
If they are correct then my alkalinity is all over the place

How old is the ph probe could be knackered
The person who sold it me said they brought it new at the beginning of 2020, then four months later closed the tank down and hasn't been used since, the prob was left inside the unit. I did think the probe could be at fault, I have a P4 and wondered if I could use that pH probe for a comparison?

Yes will be fine to test with other probe just calibrate it, was the tip of the second hand probe stored in solution?

I'll try with the other probe.
I don't believe the probe was kept wet, I think it's just been sat inside the Khd

Sounds like might be shot then if it’s not been kept in any thing, set you other probe up let it test a few times a day and leave it for a day or so.
could always try the probe on you p4 see what readings say when you calibrated it

So I have taken the unit from the shelf today to return it to the seller.
Upon doing so I checked it all over before I went to package it up.

I noticed the rollers were covered in black residue.
I've cleaned them the best I can, and have started testing again in a bucket of fresh salt water.
So far I'm getting the same reading every time.
Would this dirt of been causing issues?

I had the sample line directly in the DT in a corner, the khd was on a shelf above the tank ( only place for it )
I wasn't sure having a long line into the sump was ok so did it directly from the tank.
I can't say the area is calm as I'm running 4 maxspect gyre and a RW 20 but wouldn't think it's collecting bubbles

I'm going to install in at the side of the sump for a day or two. Now it's been cleaned and see what results I get.
Can I just check the only line that needs to me measured is the water sample line ?
So the line from the sump to the doser head + the line inside the doser head + the line from the doser head the the KHD

Noni didn't use the filter as or needs 6mm ID tube and I don't have any.

I have weighed the water sample line.
I filled the line completely, disconnected the tube from the KHD ( had water flow from the actual KHD )
Removed the line from the water (sump/bucket) and ran the doser until line was empty
