Is the PH probe that comes with the KH director the same PH probe that comes with the Profilux 4?

I would be interested in hearing what the differences are other than the KH pH probe has a shorter cable.

Unless of course it's propitiatory. I'll sign a NDA to find out;)

what is more puzzling is the fact that GHL decides to package ph7, ph4 calibration fluids with its kh director pack and profilux 4 starter pack. its instruction manual specifically states for saltwater ph7 and ph9 is required. NOT ph4. so it's supplying users with useless calibration ph4 calibration fluid and requiring them to pay an extra $8 to buy ph9 fluids. its confusing and inconvenient. they can't include all 3 fluids for the $800 you pay for the package. ridiculous !

All starter packs for P3 and P4 I have seen include pH 4, 7 and 9 standards. However - the KH unit does only content 4 and 7 because the probe should only be calibrated between 4 and 7.

Sincerely Lasse

Did the location that you purchased it from not list what is included?

Also the starter pack doesn’t come with salinity probe or orp probe because it’s made for freshwater. The mega sets are made for saltwater. There is also a $200 dollar difference in price between the two.
