Hello again everyone.
It seems to me that my suspicious come true - my GHL profilux 4 I simply don't work correctly.

I'll will explain ,but first -please look at those ph readings in the profilux software, and in the other hand , at Hanna ph meter.
Both of devices was calibrated today .
GHL allso was updated yesterday , including replacement of new PH probe.
by the way , im not doing toady anything , tank is 3 months old. only fish is at the system right now .no corals at all.

GHL ph readings :

Hanna ph meter :

My profilux 4 is 3 years old. i did all software updates , and problems began 1 year ago.
i really can't pinpoint the problem with ph readings , but its very bad for my reef.
Especially if I work with the method of adding Kalkwasser and Calcium Reactor.
It is clear to everyone what the consequences of incorrect PH levels are.

What can i do with this issues ?

im heavily invested at GHL - computer, probes , smart sockets .

Did you start a ticket with GHL?
Electrical interference?
What are you calibrating it with. My graph will show a spike up to 10 when I calibrate.

Just some ideas to check:
  • Give the probe a little shake and see if that is changing the readings for a while. If so it might be air bubbles getting trapped on the probe and you need to find a new location where no air bubbles can get trapped on the probe.
  • Power cables touching the pH probe's cable might cause some interference. I haven't checked/verified that this is causing issues but it might be worth a try to fix this.
  • The calibration solutions can expire, so maybe replace them as well, if you haven't already. Let them warm up in the tank water before using them to calibrate the pH probe and make sure you let the device know what calibration solutions you use (in my case 7 and 9.2). For some reason these calibration solutions weren't the default value for the Profilux 4 even though they literally came packaged with it:

Maybe GHL can send you a "PLM-pH/Redox-2Level" expansion card, so you can verify it has nothing to do with the connector on your Profilux.

Just an idea, I have not tried it. But I had the impression that the pH/Redox and Redox/pH connector are interchangeable.

From GHL connect you can change the settings :

You can actually use two pH probes and see what the trend is…

Good luck,

Can you try to separate the sensor wires from other electrical cords?

I also did this...separated the ph probe wire completely from others , same results.
Those results makes me thinking that the only problem that can be is electrical issue...because of that , I have orders new return pump , and ground probe.

man I really want to like the profilux but I dread calibrating my probes, the only interface it allows you to do it through is the touch buttons on the face plate but my up and left arrows are not responding, sometimes I'll sit for 20 mins pressing on the left button before it registers, makes me want to throw the entire unit out a window.
