I am wanting to get a stirer but it says they can be used with a foster. Is this true. Kind of dumb I can’t get a stirer and hook it up directly to the p4

No you can't. It's 24VDC, the P4 is 12VDC, and it has a small plug that looks like the plug on ear buds. There isn't a place to plug them in on the P4. Only Dosers.
 
But you can do a DIY solution with help of a 24 V DC adapter and a manageable power bar outlet and wanted functions from the P4.
