Ghost feeding is not working?

I'm setting up a new 75 gallon salt water tank, and I have been ghost feeding for about 2 weeks now. I seeded The tank with a few pieces of live rock from my established 10 gallon as well as dosing with bacteria.

Despite feeding every day as if 5 fish were in there, I'm registering 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, and 0 nitrates. I'm rotating what I'm feeding the tank. I've used multiple test kits because at first I thought it was probably the test kit that was off, but all of them say the same thing.

Now I'm scratching my head as to why nothing is registering on my daily testing. Is it possible the tank is already cycled? Kind of weird, I figured I would see at least a small spike, at the very least nitrates should register if the tank is already cycled. Thoughts?

Hmm have your lfs double check your findings. Are there signs of life? Does it smell like anything???

Seems like you did it the same way I did mine, but then again if its only been 2 weeks you may still be on the early end of the cycle...

What test kit are you using? What kind of filtration do you have? Skimmer? Chaeto?

Get some Ammonium Chloride.

I have two: imagitarium is my basic test kit, and I also have Hanna checkers as my end all be all.

I'm just running simple HOB, no skimmer.

Seems to be a rash of cycling problems lately... i wonder what it is that is causing the problems...
