Just picked up a massive red/pink haddoni two days ago shipped from Indo. It has been very responsive and has become very sticky to the touch. The mouth is still open larger than I like. Can you guys tell me if this is ok/ normal from a newly shipped carpet or should I get ready to cipro.
He seem OK for a newly shipped anemone. As long as he continue to get better, then no treatment is needed. If he deflates or looks worst, I would take him out and treat. Take picture when he is at his best and at his worst each day. You can use this to see if there is any trends. Good luck with him.
So I’ve had the haddoni for almost a month now. Mouth is still open but appears healthy otherwise. Sticky, eats and responsive. It’s mouth is a little larger then initially. I’d hate to pull it and treat cipro and be counterproductive. Please lmk thoughts and opinions
