Gifted coral from tank with cyano, should i use it?

You can H202 dip it but cyano should just blow off it if you see any. Corals don't like algae so if the coral is healthy then it probably has no algae on it.

I was under the impression that cyano is in nearly every hospitable body of water on the planet. I can basically guarantee that your tank already has cyano. Cyano only becomes a problem if your tank parameter are out of wack. Same think with Dinos I believe.
