Being a hack, and a cheap one at that. I took a piece of 1/2 pvc about 2 foot long. Cut a angled slot in the end so a razor blade would fit. You can play with the angle to see whats best for your depth of tank.

I use this flipper scraper. Will never put another magnetic cleaner in my tank after one destroyed the glass with scratches.

@vtecintegra makes a good point, just wanted to confirm you have glass and not acrylic as a magnet would scratch it.

Gave up on the flipper and move to Tunze Stronger Scrapper. Much better at cleaning glass (significantly less back and forth) and less chance of scratches.

I purchased the Tunze too but it was very poor at cleaning the glass compared to the Flipper. Maybe I am doing something wrong? Glass is 3/5 inches thick. I had to switch back to the Flipper.

Kinda Torn Between the Flipper and The Tunze, this will be my 7th Aquarium I have used plenty of different brands but never the Flipper or Tunze.
