I have a 20g L that was used for qt and coppersafe was used in it. Is it safe to use as a temporary holding tank for corals and fish? It has been given a vinegar wash. I can fill it and throw some carbon in it if needed too.

I’ve used Cupramine in a tank that later housed inverts w no issues. Rinse everything really well and you’re good. Copper won’t be absorbed by glass or the goo holding the sides of the tank together (silicone? Sealant? I dunno what it’s called). Be sure to also rinse all equipment including heater and filter. Replace filter media. Only caution is w live rock and sand. Once they’ve been exposed to copper, they’re no longer considered safe.

That’s just my experience. I’m no expert Good luck :)
