Glass thickness question

I got a 40 gallon tank with breeder dimensions to use as a frag tank but I realized the glass is only 4mm thick.

It has the framing and everything still I was just wondering if I’ll be able to still use this tank as an aquarium? If not is there anything I can do to help brace or support it so I can?

I live in Canada so I don’t have the dollar per gallon luxury. A 40 gallon breeder is like $160CAD

It's possible your tank was built as a reptile/terrarium setup hence the thin glass.
Typical 40B tanks are made from 1/4" glass/6mm

I double checked the dimensions and it’s 36x18x11 so it’s shorter than a breeder.

11” is my waterline the actual height is 12. The glass thickness calculators online say I have a safety factor of four so I’m just curious if I would be okay with the 4mm at this shorter height? What safety factor should I be going for?
