Glass top and return flow question if u have one. 69 g marineland cube

So... I was starting my plumbing, and put on the glass top but noticed now there's no room for the return flow pipe , since it would hit the glass top? what the heck? I'm attaching a picture. And u can see where the return pipe will hit it. I must be missing something obvious. Anybody ? Hahahhahhaha. Thank

It looks like there might exist a diff return flow option, if u look at the black casing, it's like in both upper corners there a "clipoff of detachable circle for return flow? Help? Thanks

Your return should go through one of those clippings. If I remember correctly, aqueon drilled tanks come the same way.

I knew the guy I got the tank from bought the wrong plumbing. Hahhahhaha. Thank you!!!! I thought I was crazy
