Hi Jules, as you see by my previous post online seems to not be so great some times, lol. Rather than borrow the books (as I'd like some to have for reference), would you mind sharing the titles?
I would be interested in the concept of trading them, but where would I look to do something like that? I have no idea where to start.

Sometimes the fish stores will take back damsels as a partial credit toward other fish after they are used to cycle your tank...you would just have to ask.

Here are the books I have...(in order of preference)

The Conscientious Marine Aquarist by Robert M. Fenner, Second Edition.
This book starts out on the basics of setup and maintenance and then goes into detail about several different species of fish and their feeding habits, habitat, behavior, compatibility, reproduction, and diseases common for that type of fish. Lots of pictures(got it on amazon.com)

The Marine Aquarium Handbook-Beginner to Breeder by Martin A. Moe, Jr. New Edition.
This book is the first one I got. It has almost no pictures, but goes into very much depth of the different fish diseases etc. It is an older book, but I have found it helpful.

These two books are very basic and I don't reference them nearly as much as the other two...
The Simple Guide to Mini-Reef Aquariums by Jeffrey Kurtz
The New Marine Aquarium-Step by Step Setup and Stocking Guide by Michael S. Paletta

If anyone else knows of more...I'd like to know the titles too.

Ive got a large selection of books for those of you that like to read alot on this stuff. Club members are welcome to borrow them for short periods of time if they take care of them.

We have our Golden Headed Goby in with our damsels and they get along famously. We had a Golden Headed Goby pass the other day but we think it got stuck under a rock. We had recently moved our LR around and we think that it got stuck. I hope everything is working well with your goby!

110reef: what other fish do you keep in your tank with the blue devils, and what size tank is it? I have seen a few tanks in my life that were full of countless different damsels and clowns, but if you looked closely at the tank you would notice there were no passive fish in the tank.

Sorry, just saw this question. I have a Moorish Idol, an Achilles Tang, a Purple Tang, a Mandarin, a Scooter Blenny, a Majestic Angel, an Asfur Angel, an Indian Trigger, 2 Blue Devils, a Yellow Coris Wrasse, and a Rabbitfish.

Ha, this is an old thread. Just an update, 6 months later. The new goby is still doing fine. I have 2 percs, 3 yellow tailed damsels, 1 yellow tang, 1 lawnmower blenny, a pink anthilias (<--spelling?), and all are getting along great. The yellow tailed will bicker among each other from time to time, but the rest of the fish are bigger than them, so have no real issues with them being bullies.
