I saw we have a Blenny Showoff thread...so i figured we could use a goby showoff thread. Lets see them...

cool not enough pics of gobies I have had 3 and lost all three ..one jumped or two jumped one just disappeared.
 
Bigkai - That is a nice looking goby!! Looks like an eel very cool!! BTW your bicolor is a blenny not a goby.
Wy - nice pics of your clown goby...i see he loves to chill on a bunch of coral lol.

opps lol i realy wasnt sure i googled bicolor goby and it pulled up a pic of mine of. ya the engineer goby is reany cool to watch but it dig a lot. iv been training him to come out and eat when i feed the coral. now he comes all the way out and feeds off my turkey baster i will try to get a vid of it next time i feed

Nice gobies! I have heard that clown gobies can have a tendency to nip at sps. Does any one have first hand experience with that?

Yes; In the wild, Clown gobies eat acropora mucous. In order to do so, they pick at the corals until they irritate it enough to produce mucous and then they consume the mucous. While it is generally accepted that if the SPS colony is large enough and the fish are well enough fed, it should not cause too much damage to your corals, there are horror stories of entire SPS dominated tanks being decimated by Yellow Clown gobies. Be warned!

Does your yellow watchman goby have a friend FSU? Man how do you have such purple rocks!? I wish I had something like that.

LOL i should get him garnet (red) friend. I was thinking about getting him a pistol shrimp at some point. Yeah my rocks have no problem with coralline algae...if only it stayed on the rocks!!!

Just added a pair of hi fin redbanded gobies yesterday morning. They are still hiding in a cave I added just for them. Pics once they show will be posted HERE, and hopefully gobies can get some more love!
