So again my AI Prime HD Bluetooth model is going wonky.
So at 3:30 AM my light would come on and then go off, next time brighter and the next time dimmer, for over 3 hours this happened.
So I finally unplugged it. I can tell my wife to plug it in during the day and unplug it at night, will that work?
Being in another state can I reset it and will it work? I will only have my phone with me,
I should be able to monitor this but maybe not post.
Thanks in advance and Aloha,
yeah team.

Thanks I just back home, and we will see if I get another Disco Dance party tonight. We reset the internal clock again, maybe a Luan light is going to be my next light.

I downed loaded the AI App so I am not sure if that is Mobius?
It's different than mobius.. I've had good luck with that one but I have read of people that had date time issues with it as well. It's odd because not everyone experiences issue.

So just the next day the light goes wonky again, first clue the light is still on 1 hour after bedtime, and then the next day the light is getting brighter and dimmer almost like it is breathing. It is an old stock bought BNIB the warranty expired, it probably has about 2 years use on it. My WI/Fi models that are really old are doing just fine, I simply replaced the lens.
The time keeps changing back to 1970.

So an update, it seems the issue with the light is the Time and Date is constantly resetting itself, twice this morning in 2 hours. Looks like I will have to do a

Different apps but unfortunately still created by the same developer C2 Development LLC so if the issue is with the app then there's probably nasty bugs in all the code all over the place in both apps. That said I'm still not convinced the random clock resetting issue are coming from the app because I've had this happen when I've been out of town so definitely no communication between the app on my phone and the lights that communicate via bluetooth. Disclaimer my experience is with Radion lights but tbh it's all the same company now. Unfortunately the only thing to do is throw the lights in the trash and stay as far away from any Aperture Pet & Life product in the future. You can try getting a refund for the faulty product but good luck, I'm still trying.

Yeah it looks like I will have to go with Luna lights or something else. Funny my AI Prime HD with WI/FI only are still working.

Not sure what else it could be but mobius. I have 4 tanks running ecotech gear using mobius and they randomly lose track of the correct date and time. Sometimes one, sometime three etc. I have 9 devices between radions and vortechs and 7 of those ran for years using ecosmart live with a reeflink and never once did I have lights coming on at 3am because time was out of sync.
The OPs issue sounds like it's different tho because I never had constant issues unless power was lost then they all revert to January 2010.

Could be related to using Mobius for sure but I suspect part of or the entire issue is in the device firmware. There is likely different sections of code being executed based on what app was used to setup the device, but really without any of this information being public who knows what's really going on in there.

No power outages, only the bluetooth version is having this issue. I think I have gone two days without a hiccup. This is why I hate things being controlled by my phone.
