No,I also have the flagfin. When I 1st bought she does looked like the regular goldflake, and as growing bigger its changing to this color !

I would say hybrid, it happens more than you think, most of these conspecies breed together. Comparing the 2, I can definitely see the gold in the one vs yellow. The anal and dorsal fin is also more in common with a goldflake.
