Goniopora feed response

Just recently added a large polyp Goniopora colony to the family. With direct feeding I noticed a slime response. Is this positive or negative? I am using Phytoplankton, Oyster Feast, and Goniopower mixed with saltwater. One part feed to Ten parts saltwater. Thanks for your thoughts!

Generally when I see a slime response it's because the coral is removing what's on it, not eating or not ready to eat (ie wrong time of the day)

Lol when you see "bump" that means somebody is posting in your thread to keep it active because they are either helping you or they want an answer from somebody as well.

Oh...Thank you for the explanation and the advice! when might be the best time, just after polyp extension?
