Goniopora help!

Hello everyone:) lately this purpleish substance has appeared on my goniopora. Is it good? Should I be concerned? Thank you for any responses:)

Fairly new to the hobby, are either of those harmful for the coral? Thank you for the response!
Neither should be harmful. Most likely if it grows towards the Goniopora's tissue/polyps the Goni will hold its own. In most instances I've seen with coral warfare the Goni always wins.
