Goniopora spawning or something else?

I have a few gonioporas. Yesterday a hour or so before lights out one of the gonis started expelling a milky translucent substance. Is it spawning or expelling xoantelle? Looked really deflated and seems to be fully recovered this morning. It was a bit stresses I am sure as the evil pistol shrimp knocked over the rock. Had to move it after it stopped expelling mucus lookin fluid. Any ideas?

I think it's just renewing its mucus. I saw somewhat similar behavior when I fed my acans a certain powder food that they didn't like.

Thank you , it got bounced around a bit when the rock fell over. Sounds like waste to me as well. Fully recovered now in a new temp spot.
